In past years, when I did a lot of rescue/foster, giardia was very common. It is especially prevalent in dogs who are housed mainly outdoors in large groups. Coccydia is another common one for both kittens and puppies. Both can take quite a while to completely clear up, but eventually it will be gone, and the good news is it is very treatable. The local vets usually prescribe a med called Albon-at least for the coccydia.. It's been at least 10 years since I had one with giardia but they may use Albon for that, too, or possibly Flagyl?

HAHA, yeah that small.... but no purse...... We had another beagle - his name was Bagel. He was 28 LBS and while he was a great dog, there is something really nice about having such a small Beagle now. Easier to take him around with you is is one of the biggest advantages
