Lol, I feel your pain re the fridge
.Buttons has a rounded snout (you can have a look at my pics in my album), but uses his paws. It started when he was on steroids and he enjoyed a fair few fridge raids before we found a fridge-lock that was beagle-proof . He does cupboards too... but sturdy cupboard locks are easier to come by. When he was younger and skinnier (before the steroid days), he could also open his crate - and it's the two-lock kind! Oh yes.... beagles are verrrrry smart

went out one day for two hours, left charlie aged 6 months in our back yard. came home to find him sitting in the sitting room with every magazine in the house in shreds, couple of cds chewed and one hole in one cushion. its like he has a sixth sence of what he will get in most trouble over and never really destroys anything important, bar the car bonnet that he was trying to dig thru last week
, but that was a one off. he had the hole house to him self but luckly the sitting room couch is a very desirable place for him. the back door wasnt locked but i recon it was pure luck he got it open as it hasnt happened since. some times i think he can be really spitefull if u do something that he doesnt like, anyone think the same of there beagle.
