does anyone elses beagle do this?

Hi, We got our puppy at 8 weeks old, and he now 1 year. He has always lifted one front leg when he is sitting. He will lift one, put that one down and lift the other. He seems to just do this to be cute?

Angel does this now when she's really happy or sees something she wants someone to look at. We take her out for walks in wooded areas and she does it alot...whether or not she's had training in hunting she's got some natural pointing in her behavior...no idea how to encourage this for the future now...looks like I've got some reading to do

Never experienced this but as long as there is nothing in his paw (doesn't sound like it since he is lifting both) I would assume he is ok!

both mine do this, i always thought it was 'pointing'

Lily does it from time to time. Mostly she lifts both paws up and tries to wrap them around my arm...not sure why she does that.
