Default Angel improvements!!!

We need to clean her ears every day still, but she's infection free. She's had her stitches out...

At this point she's a totally different dog. She's still shy and unsure about men...terrified actually, but she's spending more time with her tail not tucked between her legs when she's running around the house. She's actually able to dominate our Husky when they wrestle (he's alot bigger than her now). She's still amazing with children, and is still running up to me for walks and treats. My hunny...she'll let him go on walks with her but she wants nothing else from him, no treats nothing...tail between the legs the whole time and...yeah. Still frustrating there but she's making so much other progress...

And now for the big news of the weekend. Angel can now move the muscles surrounding her ears enough for her to lift them. It's only for a few seconds, but the muscles are starting to show signs of returning...She's doing it more and more often when something grabs her interest and well I'm really excited about it. There's a little more thickness to the part of her head that's previously looked caved in...but it still looks caved in. We're taking what we can get at this point...

Anyway, there's the excitement from this weekend...just thought I'd share.

Yeah we're really excited, she's also getting excited...she can bark...she can bark loud...and howl and bay at other dogs...

Ear movement...huge progress...we took her for a walk tonight and...well my daughter whose in most of the pictures with her didn't listen and wore her sandals...

End result...Angel running across the street dragging my daughter on her stomach (thank god no cars) to try to tell a random pit bull (that was suuuper well behaved) that she wanted to say hellos and be aknowledged...

Wonderful!!!!! It sounds like you and your family are doing an amazing job with her!

Slowly but surely, she will be better with men. Zoey was terrified of women - and now is fine with everyone.

It is so great about her ears!

Okay this is Angel's head now...from what I've read the muscles don't grow back often...but if you look at my avatar pic, and these pics taken tonight...you can see the muscles are redeveloping...

or well it looks that way to me, thoughts? Is this all in my head?

Congratulations! Believe it or not there are lots of Beagle owners who wouldn't have put in the effort you have. I wish there were more like you.
