Chicken or Beef?

I always wonder what things taste like to dogs. They definitely enjoy some of the same things that humans do, but to varying degrees. For example all of my dogs go nuts for even a taste of vanilla ice cream. They literally start shaking w/ excitement when they know that they are about to get some.

Recently, I've begun conducting an experiment where I offer my dogs a choice between a juicy piece of chicken or a thick beef bone and without fail they pick the chicken every single time. I'm wondering if you've noticed if your beagle has a preference for one or the other or if you have weird (or not so weird) things that your beagles turn on the puppy dog eyes for?

Two human foods all of our dogs go nuts (literally) for:

chicken
pizza crust

We don't eat meat anymore but when we did the fuss they made over chicken was unbelievable! They knew we were having it before I even started cooking.

Forget about pizza crust, I don't know what that is all about but watch out if you are eating pizza in this house.

I haven't tried to offer Chloe two different options as of yet, but I'm pretty sure she'd choose BOTH

One thing she will race across the house, under tables, over chairs, on the ceiling for is Peanut Butter....she just LOVES it. And unfortunately for me, that's my breakfast each morning on an english muffin.

She also loves vanilla ice cream, but I think that's because she's seen the cats having little licks here and there and she can't possibly not do what the cats do!

all my dogs prefer chicken over beef. and duck over chicken,
the only fights we have ever had are over pizza crusts though. dont know what it is but dogs really seem to love them.

My dog wants to eat 24/7, everything...
Really funny he doesn't like peanut butter.
But the absolute favorit is the chicken.

Tody Sophie wanted to taste stuffed grape leaves!!!! I think she just likes food. Any food.

Hailey will go to her first puppy class today. Trainer said to bring treats and recommended chicken. OMG

she goes ballistic when I give her one.

My Lola LOVES chicken, she passes on beef.

do u guys give them raw chicken or cooked? i haven't tried giving luna any, but she goes crazy for bananas, grapes and even lettuce, i also give her boiled eggs in the morning. but that's about it. :/
