Molly has never tipped hers over. Its pretty low to the ground so it really can't go anywhere. That one is from Petco. They have it online. I am not sure if hers if from Petsmart or Petco.

OUr first beagle had a back problem so we had to raise his dishes so he could eat...after he went over the rainbow bridge, we kept the wooden platform, and put the two metal water dishes in it for the other two beagles. No tipping this over, and they don't paw at it as much. I've seen Casie, the three year old try to carry it out of the kitchen to tell me it's empty, but about one step, and he starts barking instead.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. We have begun feeding Mixer in the house (we were feeding her outside since in the beginning she had a weak digestive tract and would poo 10 min after eating). So we are able to keep her water dish inside the house and very rarely does she flip it over anymore.
Its actually kinda funny because the other day we put her outside because I could tell she needed to go out but it was raining so we put some newspaper on the porch and put her water bowl outside. It wasn't even 5 minutes before we heard her tip it over. |

I've been using the same thing for years...stainless steel non-tip bowls. They work great and they even have one for long eared dogs to keep your Beagle's ears out of his food and water. You can find them at almost any pet supply store. Keep away from plastic bowls because sometimes Beagles develop an allergy to them. The stainless steel ones have a rubber piece around the bottom that will last for about 2 days so I usually just discard it from the beginning.

We have ceramic bowls and stands for our guys that sit on top of placemats. The bowls can be washed in the dishwasher and the stands are fairly sturdy. Below was the setup at our old house. Aside from the dogs just being spoiled, the placemats serve to catch some of the water they slosh out of their bowls. LOL
