More than 4,000 beagles suffered and died in experiments in the UK in 2009, and tens of thousands more were used worldwide. A company which sells beagles into the vivisection trade has recently applied for planning permission to build a new facility in Yorkshire. Please sign action alert:

This summer, more than 2,000 PETA supporters contacted East Riding of Yorkshire Council to ask them to turn down an application by B&K Universal (which is owned by Marshall Farms, a huge US supplier of animals for experiments) to demolish existing housing for dogs at Grimston near Hull and erect new and larger breeding facilities

FYI- Marshall farms supplies ferrets to pet stores and also has a pet store company. They are one of the direct causes of ferret cancers by haphazzard breedings. They also produce other pets specificly for research. Huge controversy with them about 7 years ago when I was research pocket pets. Marshall BioResources is an international breeder for biomedical research. They are currently in 6 other counties as well.

If you opppse this next instution of their please consider never buying pocket pets from pets stores or other pets. And research your porducts to ensure your not buying theres. Educate others as well.

FYI - I am not against needed research, I am against inhumane treatment during and unethical breeding for it.
