Default Puppies

If anyone is in the Illinois area and looking for a beagle I believe the place we got ours from still has 5 female puppies for sale. They are 8 weeks old now and have had their first set of shots and their duclaws removed. They do not have papers for them so they are only asking $100 for them. They can be found on Beagles For Sale Online :: Ad. Details

I am including a picture the owners took of the pups:

I thought I should add that some people may be skeptical of the $100 cost but this is not a puppy mill...this is a family who currently has 3 beagles, 2 labs, 1 rotweiler and 5 beagle puppies (there were 7). They used to breed but had decided not to anymore but their male dog took care of that just days before they got him fixed. They are selling them to defray some costs of all the dog food they have to buy. When I got mine from them they even gave me a bag full of goodies that included puppy pads, dog treats, dog food, and a rope toy.

Default Puppies

Hello............

Purina puppy chow is crap, no matter what type, so I'd just switch to a higher quality food.

Not all pet food is made equally. A lot of it is full of corn, by-products, dyes, unhealthy preservatives, filler grains and all sorts of nasty stuff. A lot of pet food companies are perfectly happy to the dump cheap leftovers and things that aren't safe for human consumption (from human food processing plants) into their foods. Will it kill your dog? No, it has to be nutritionally complete and safe to even be marketed. Is it healthy? Not by a long shot.

Corn is a low quality ingredient you never want to see in your pet food. Corn and low quality grains are two of the biggest culprits when it comes to food allergies in our pets.

Thankfully, there are some excellent dog foods being made these days that include organic, human grade ingredients rather than trash not fit for human consumption.

Examples of low quality foods to avoid: Anything you can find in a grocery store will be low end, Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Royal Canin, Pedigree, Kibbles n' Bits, Beneful, Ol'Roy.
