Default 2010 Doggie Easter Egg Hunt, April 3rd @ 11am

I know some of our forum members are from the greater Toronto Area; we have a charity event on April 3rd. It's a really fun day, for owners and dogs alike. Event details are below; please pm me if you have any questions about it.

The URL with more information can be found at:
ONTARIO SPCA - YORK REGION BRANCH
We are located at:
York Region OSPCA
16586 Woodbine Ave., RR3
Newmarket, ON L3Y 4W1

---

Date: April 3, 2010
Registration: 10:30 am
Start: 11:00 am
Location: Held on the grounds of the York Region Shelter

In support of the Ontario SPCA York Region Branch

Bring your pup and join the Hunt at the York Region Branch’s 2010 Doggie Easter Egg Hunt.* Every egg has treats for your four legged friends and a few special eggs will win your pup a prize.* It’s great fun for the whole family.* Fill up your pledge form, join the fun and hunt for that elusive prize.

Planning your day
10:30 Registration begins at the shelter in the large meeting room.
11:00 – 2:00 Happy Hunting

Refreshments will be available during the egg hunt.

Guidelines:
All participants (or guardians if under 18) must sign in at registration and sign the event waiver prior to starting your hunt.

Remember that there are a limited amount of eggs and prizes, so come early and enjoy the day. To share/spread the wealth, we will be limiting prize winnings to one per participant. All eggs will have doggie treats inside and a select few will have a prize sticker denoting that you are the winner of one of our prize baskets. Prizes will be awarded on a first come first “picked” basis.

When hunting, please pick up only 12 eggs at a time. You may continue hunting once the 12 you have picked have been verified and opened.

All eggs are sealed and must be opened at the verification table inside the shelter. Any eggs that have been opened prior to verification will be disqualified should they contain a prize.

Everyone is welcome, with or without a canine friend.

Our egg hunt will proceed rain or shine and will be spread over the entire property, so please dress for the weather and be prepared for a little mud in places.

Dogs must be leashed at all times and must be kept away from our outdoor pens. If your dog does not enjoy the company of other dogs or people, please leave them at home.

Our rabbits have been busy producing many more eggs this year. Come on out; join the hunt, support the animals and have some fun.
